Logistic process

In Afosto, we have complete control over the logistics process of your webshop. With our advanced tools and features, you can manage the entire lifecycle of your products – from purchase to sale and everything in between. These processes can be easily handled through our user-friendly backend interface on the Afosto platform.

But we understand that logistics doesn't stop at the desktop. That's why we've also developed a special mobile app specifically designed for use in the warehouse. With this app, you can manage all your logistics processes directly from your smartphone, handheld Android scanner, or tablet, from receiving goods to shipping customer orders. This makes it easy to work on the go and ensure you're always up to date with your inventory.

The Afosto mobile app communicates with our GraphQL APIs, ensuring fast and efficient data exchange between the app and the Afosto platform. This means that all data you enter or modify on the app is immediately updated on the platform, so everyone on your team always has the most up-to-date information.

Best of all, our mobile app is fully customizable. We understand that every customer is unique, which is why we offer the flexibility to customize the app to your specific needs and workflows. So whether you manage a large warehouse or a small team of employees, the Afosto mobile app can be tailored to your way of working.

In Afosto, you will find the following components:

Orders

At Afosto, we can merge and manage all incoming orders from various platforms, such as Shopify, Afosto, and marketplaces (e.g., bol.com, Amazon) or other integrations. By centralizing all your orders in one place, you can manage your sales more efficiently and improve customer service.

Purchase orders

When you make purchases from a supplier, you can create the purchase order in Afosto. This allows you to keep track of what you expect to receive from your supplier, which can help in planning your inventory and preventing shortages.

Receiving lists

These are lists of products you expect to receive from an external party. In many cases, this will be the same as the purchase order, but there may be differences depending on the situation. By keeping track of receiving lists, you can identify and take action on any discrepancies if necessary.

Receiving processing (Cross-Dock Functionality)

Afosto has extensive cross-dock functionality. If you want your incoming stock to be directly sorted over outgoing stock, you can use the cross-dock functionality. Incoming goods are directly allocated to outgoing orders, resulting in a more efficient process and reducing order lead times.

Delivery requests

If you have two inventory locations, such as a store and a warehouse, you can make a direct delivery request from one location to another. This is useful if, for example, an online order needs stock from the store.

Picklists

Picklists are lists that you can generate in your own warehouse. A picklist is a list of products you need to collect for your outstanding outgoing orders. Using picklists allows warehouse workers to efficiently gather the required products, resulting in faster order processing.
